Day 01Ahmedabad - Velavadar ( 150km / 3hrs )

After early breakfast drive to Velavdar. On arrival, check in at hotel and later in the evening proceed for evening Safari to Velavadar Black Buck Sanctuary, the best national park for black buck viewing in India. Spread over 36 sq km, this park which a tapestry of grasslands and scrubby plains reminiscent of the African Savanah. The national park also provides suitable habitat for the endangered Indian wolf, the jackal, the Indian fox, the jungle cat, blue bull antelope and hare to proliferate successfully and attracted large number of birds.

Day 02Velavadar – Day trip to Nalsarovar ( km / hrs )

Proceed to Nalsarovar. Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary: Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary is few of the highly renowned bird sanctuaries of India. Nal Sarovar Sanctuary is internationally considered for its rich birdlife which includes a huge variety of flora and fauna particularly the bird species. A bird watcher can see here over 250 various bird species including resident as well as migratory birds. Nal Sarovar sanctuary invites frequent ornithologists and bird watchers round the year. The Nal Sarovar Sanctuary is a mainly a wetland and also hosts a heavenly lake in the middle of it. Continue drive to Velavadar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03Velavadar - Sasangir ( 200km / 4hrs )

in the morning, proceed to Sasangir. Sasan Gir has number of areas / wetlands that offer excellent Bird watching opportuniteis. On arrival check in at the hotel and rest for the day. Next day explore different areas of the park. Overnight stay at Sasangir.

Day 04Sasangir ( km / hrs )

Best known for the last remaining population of Asiatic Lions, Gir is also one of the finest reserves to see Leopards. Some of the birds found here include the Indian Jungle Nightjar, Mottled Wood Owl, Rock Bush Quail, White-bellied Minivet, Painted Sandgrouse, Black Ibis, Rufous-fronted Prinia & Crested Hawk Eagle. Overnight at Gir .

Day 05Sasangir - Jamnagar ( 240km / 5hrs )

Today, leave Gir after another game drive and lunch, heading west to Jamnagar, another of Gujarat’s major cities. Enroute stop at the impressive Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary, less than an hour’s drive from the city. This wetland reserve is unique in that about half of water is fresh while the other half is saline; consequently it harbors a staggering variety of wildlife. Night in Jamnagar.

Day 06Jamnagar ( km / hrs )

A full day around Jamnagar will give ample time to explore other areas near the city, including the Marine National Park at Narara. If we can time the visit to coincide with a high tide, we should be treated to a real feast of shorebirds, gulls, and terns. Night in Jamnagar.

Day 07Jamnagar - Bhuj ( 260km / 5hrs )

Leaving Jamnagar,l head west, pausing to look for Demoiselle Cranes and Laggar Falcon as we leave the Kathiawar Peninsula and drive to Bhuj, capital of Kutch and an area that is transformed into an island during the summer monsoon. Bhuj is being gradually rebuilt following the 2001 earthquake, but still retains much of its Wild West atmosphere. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08Bhuj - Nakhatrana ( 60km / 1hrs )

Proceed to Nakhatrana around noon. Nakhatrana is a the base point to visit Bird watching, craft villages and pilgrimage areas in Kutch.

Day 09Nakhatrana ( km / hrs )

Visit Greater Rann of Kutchh and Bird watching areas around Nakhatrana, The area is good for large birds (Flamingos, Storks, Cranes etc.), Raptors and rare birds such as white naped tit, Grey Hypocolius etc. overnight stay at Nakhatrana

Day 10Nakhatrana - Little Rann of Kutch ( 300km / 6hrs )

Early morning birding at Bhuj looking for species we may have missed out and later drive to Little Rann of Kutch Arrive Little Rann of Kutch and check in to the hotel. Evening game drive into the Wild Ass Sanctuary.

Day 11Little Rann of Kutch ( km / hrs )

Full day to explore LRK. Morning and evening visits the Wild Ass Sanctuary by exclusive jeeps, some of the other mammals besides the Wild Ass, we hope to see are the Desert Fox & Indian Wolf. The star birds here are the wintering McQueens Bustard, Sykes Nightjar, Greater Hoopoe Lark, Indian Courser, White tailed & Sociable Plovers, Great White & Dalmatian Pelicans, Demoiselle Cranes and raptors like the Pallid & Montaqu’s Harrier, Peregrine Falcon, Imperial, Tawny & Greater Spotted Eagles.

Day 12Little Rann of Kutch- Ahmedabad ( 90km / 2hrs )

Morning visit the sanctuary for the species we may have missed out. Afternoon depart by surface for Ahmedabad to board your flight. Tour ends.
